Scientist Dr. Henry Jekyll (John Barrymore) is intelligent and diligent, but also uptight and extremely serious about his work. When his friend, Sir George Carew (Brandon Hurst), takes him to a show featuring the sensual Miss Gina (Nita Naldi), an aroused Jekyll sets out on a quest to separate man’s saintly and sinful sides. The Louisville art band UT GRET will perform a live soundtrack to the 1920 silent film classic “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde: starring John Barrymore. Mark your calendars for this FREE event at the Floyd Theater at the University of Louisville on Friday April the 13th! Film/performance starts at 8:00 pm. No ticket is required though we suggest getting there by 7:30 to get the best seats. We expect a full capacity audience!
