Jon will be performing with the IU Southeast Orchestra during their Spring 2016 Concert.
The Music Department at Indiana University Southeast will present the IU Southeast Orchestra on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 3 p.m. in the Ogle Center on campus at 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for students, and are available at the Ogle Center ticket office, by calling (812) 941-2525, or online at oglecenter.com.
Under the direction of Dr. Joanna Goldstein, the orchestra will perform the “Adagio” from SPARTACUS AND PHRYGIA by Aram Khachaturian, the first movement of the CONCERTO FOR FLUTE, also by Khachaturian, featuring senior music student, Zoë Blackwell, “Entry of the Nobles” from MLADA by Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov, “Siegfried’s Rhine Journey” from GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG by Richard Wagner, and “Danse Bacchanale” from SAMSON ET DALILA by Camille Saint-Saëns.
Free parking is available in the Dogwood lot directly in front of the Ogle Center and in the Hickory lot directly behind the Ogle Center from one hour prior to the performance until one hour following the end of the performance. Vehicles parked in other locations and/or at other times will be subject to ticketing.
