The Music Department at Indiana University Southeast will present the IU Southeast Concert Band on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3 p.m. in the Ogle Center on campus at 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for students, and are available at the Ogle Center ticket office, by calling (812) 941-2525, or online at oglecenter.com.
Under the direction of Philip A. Thomas, the band will perform “The Invincible Eagle” by John Philip Sousa, “Dusk” by Steven Bryant, “The Slavonic Dances” by Antonín Dvořák and transcribed by James Curnow, “Children’s March (Over the Hills and Far Away)” by Percy Grainger, and “Equus” by Eric Whitacre.
Free parking is available in the Dogwood lot directly in front of the Ogle Center and in the Hickory lot directly behind the Ogle Center from one hour prior to the performance until one hour following the end of the performance. Vehicles parked in other locations and/or at other times will be subject to ticketing.
