Intro

Christine Olson is a dancer, performance artist, and choreographer based in Madison, Wisconsin. Jon has collaborated with her several times over the years since 2004. “Guzzle” is a performance art piece Christine first performed at the Project Lodge (Pro Lo) in 2008 and then at the Sorbus Gallery in Helsinki Finland in 2013. The fixed media sound used for the performances were from Jon’s 2003 album “Avant le violoncello”1 and live recordings from performances by Noiseman433 and T.E.C.

Artist Statement

One day I took a look around, and every single person in my direct vicinity was consuming something. Can we exist without excess? Consumption seemed to have no visible end.
