Christine Olson (Madison, WI)
Christine Olson is a dancer, performance artist, and choreographer based in Madison, Wisconsin. Since 2004, Jon has collaborated with Christine on a number of occasions both live and with fixed media used for her performances and installations.
Bio: “Christine Olson is a time-based artist residing in Madison, WI since 1997. Previous unconventional spaces that she has shown her video installations in have been an old winery, a vacant warehouse, a frozen lake, the woods, a chic vintage clothing shop, a room in a convent, an unused office building, and a parking space. Recently Christine has toured and performed with Non Grata as a participant in the Diverse Universe Nomadic Performance Art tour in Finland and Estonia. She has also performed at Animamous Art Salon on the lower east side of Manhattan. Her interests are Butoh, Dada, Deco, and the surreal. She also enjoys curating one-night only performance art events.“
