“CORE: A Live Art Show” 2012
CORE: A Live Art Show was the name of a fully curated event by Christine Olson that took place at the Commonwealth Gallery in Madison, Wisconsin. It is also the name of a collaborative performance she did with Camera Lucida (Roxell Karr – video, electronics; Jon Silpayamanant – cello, electronics) on November 10, 2026. The name stood in for the performance (and the music that emerged from the performance).

“Tides & Core” was a performance art piece developed and performed by Christine Olson. It was was part of CORE: A Live Art Show, which took place over the course of two days on November 9th and 10th, 2012 at the Commonwealth Art Gallery in Madison, Wisconsin. Jon Silpayamanant/Noiseman433 accompanied the work live with cello and electronics which was performed November 9.

“Guzzle” is a performance art piece Christine first performed at the Project Lodge (Pro Lo) in 2008 and then at the Sorbus Gallery in Helsinki Finland in 2013. The fixed media sound used for the performances were from Jon’s 2003 album “Avant le violoncello” and live recordings from performances by Noiseman433 and T.E.C.

“RUB” (2004)
“RUB” was a performance art piece developed and choreographed by Christine Olson. The RUB performance was part of the HIVE show on February 28, 2004 and took place in a vacant 1970’s office floor with guest artists Kate Mura and Christee Köberle, live performance, and immersive and some interactive video installations. The video of the performance was subsequently used in a video installation at the Ironworks Building for a six-day run in April and May.
